In March 2007 my Father in Law, Samuel Mervyn Hughes passed away after a short but brave battle against Cancer. During his final weeks he benefited from the care and support of The Marie Curie Nursing Service which allowed him to remain at home until the end.

As a family, we knew very little about this wonderful organisation but we now know how desperately they need our support. Did you know that a donation of £20.00 provides one hour of nursing care to a terminally ill patient in their own home?
